Sincere condolences to the extended McGuill family on the passing of James.
James was a formidable prop with DRFC throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The highlight of his playing career was captaining DRFC to a McGee Cup final.
He also served as secretary to the club during the 1990s.
James was a highly regarded SC, taking on cases at the European and international level. He was a gentleman who earned the respect of all who knew him.
He will be sadly missed by all his friends in Dundalk and far beyond.
